Pictures from the 7/1  Race Day

First half motos were dry and hot.  But then a brief, but violent thunderstorm sent everybody running from the start of the second half +35 gate.  And it drizzled for the rest of the day keeping the track fairly muddy.

THIS PIC JUST ABOUT SUMS IT ALL UP

"Bark Busters" in the mud ?

Women's Motocross got their "own gate" for the first time at Diamond.  They had 8 riders and there was great competition in both the dry 1st half moto and especially in the muddy 2nd half.

  2. Mike and John chat it up     (by the way, Mike can certainly "fly" that CR of his)

"No sir, Yes sir,   I'll never take your line again"

Diamond put in a new turn after the uphill triple.   It was great.  You jumped the biggest, baddest, fastest jump in District 34 AND THEN you tucked it into a tight natural grass section for one of the tightest sections in the district.  Multiple lines were created by moving barrels during practice.

  1. NEW TURN:  Was a great passing spot

  2. NEW TURN: Mini rider (Bobby Bertrun  #617) pulling away

  3. NEW TURN:  Koretsky shredding on the 250F

  4. NEW TURN:  Mini rider #70

  5. NEW TURN:  Just that old guy.....

Mini Rider (Bobby Bertrum, from New Fairfield, CT) is a frequent visitor to Diamond and a scrapper in muddy conditions.

About sending me pictures:  Measure them in pixels;  max width 700 pixels, max height 400 pixels. If not,  it takes a   "billboard" to display it as they are usually oversized and consume tremenedous resources.   "Crop and Resize before you email"   A picture should be about 50kb in size (give or take 25kb).
