Scott and his brother Larry, along with all their many
children, have always been major players in the District 34 scene.
Each Sunday the entire family could be found participating in one of
the district's many events. So
its with great sadness that we are forced to say goodbye to Scott long
before such a thing should ever be necessary. But
as with all men, who have lived their lives by putting others first, we can at least look back now to see the deeds he accomplished for the
benefit of family and friends. So Godspeed
Scott Hermance.
We bid you
a final farewell and may you rest peacefully knowing that your life's
work will inspire your children to do the same for others some day.
And from that we will have our new beginning.
Scott "hand built" this custom motor home from a chassis
retired from school bus duty. It is divided into 3 main areas:
a front section that contains a couch and a dining area with sink.
Next section is a lavatory followed by a sleeping area that contains 4
bunks. Behind that is the last section which is the garage for
the bikes. The motor home is air conditioned, contains a
DVD
player and stereo, ramp to
the garage, a very
large awning on
the side, a roll out barbecue grill and water tanks for pressure
washing. Interior curtains were hand sewn by Scott himself. A custom paint job completes the package. It is a
very impressive work and well layed out.
