The RP Report

Rich Price:  A Personal Profile

Rich Price is a new reporter on the District 34 motocross scene. He has been around the sport ever since he was a year old. Rich is a former rider, and used to compete in the 125 class. He piloted the #807 Yamaha to several trophies and top 10 finishes. However, due to an injury that occurred while riding, he has been unable to ride since the beginning of last season.

He has focused his efforts this season, on the journalism side of the sport. He has reported on many of the district races so far this year, as well as a few Northeast Classic Series races. His main goal is to give the fans that were unable to attend the race, a sense of what went down. He has been on the Racer X web site, a nationally known web site, but his main goal is to please the District 34 fans. He will be doing profiles and interviews with the top riders in our district throughout the year. So if you see him coming towards your pit area, do not run, he is only there to interview you!

Rich’s purpose is to get the overall picture of the racing action imbedded in your head, and at the same time, make it exciting. He is a straight shooter and tells it like it is. He is probably best known for his Orange-Framed, Orange-Lense, Oakley sunglasses that he sports almost every Sunday. If you see him around, say hi!
